Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between physical self-efficacy and psychological well-being of leisure sports participants in Hunan Province, china. To achieve the goal, 750 questionnaires were used for the analysis with SAS system 9.4 with frequency, reliability, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression Analysis. Results are as follows: The perceived physical ability and physical self-presentation factors of physical self-efficacy positively influenced on all of the sub-factors of psychological well-being such as hedonic enjoyment, self-realization, competence, and flow. The implications of this study were discussed and a direction for future study was suggested.
