Abstract

The article deals with the actual problem of the reasonableness of including the basics of digital art in the Art Education system of school children. Art Education is aimed not only at teaching a specific craft to young people, but also at forming a person's spiritual culture and gaining a special emotional experience. The analysis of the concepts of "Art Education" and "Digital Art" is carried out. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the reasonableness of including the basics of digital painting in the Art Education of school children. The factors that create obstacles to this integration and a possible way to overcome them are outlined.
