Abstract

A chemmotological analysis of natural gas used as motor fuel for modern gas-diesel internal combustion engines is presented. An automated system for changing the fuel supply and the ignition timing angle is considered depending on the assessment of the energy characteristic (Wobbe number) and methane number (MH) of natural gas by measuring the physical characteristics of the gas mixture by the additivity of its composition using measurements of the content of each component in natural gas. Keywords: GAS DIESEL, CHEMICAL ANALYSIS, TESTS, LABORATORY INSTALLATION, COMBUSTIBLE MIXTURE, METHANE NUMBER, IGNITION DOSE, THERMODYNAMIC FUNDAMENTALS OF THE GAS DIESEL CYCLE, ENERGY INDICATORS
