МОЛОДЕЖНЫЙ ЭКСТРЕМИЗМ КАК УГРОЗА НАЦИОНАЛЬНОЙ БЕЗОПАСНОСТИ РОССИИ В УСЛОВИЯХ ГЛОБАЛИЗАЦИИ

Abstract

The paper discusses the features of the manifestation of extremism in the youth environment in modern condi-tions of global social mobility, information interpenetra-tion of subcultures and ideologies. The author considers the main political directions of extremism: right-radical, left-radical, religious, paying particular attention to the analysis of the manifestations of the latter, its peculiar attractiveness for the youth environment. Political radi-calism in unfavorable socio-economic conditions may be a key factor that will determine the civil-political activity of youth, the way of “self-realization”, which will lead to destabilization of the political situation. The ideas of the radical type of various extremist groups seem attractive to the younger generation because of the “presence” in them of pseudo-ideals of freedom, justice, choice, spir-itual development and social significance, etc. The au-thor concludes that as the main way to increase the ef-fectiveness of the prevention of youth extremism in Rus-sia, it is necessary to optimize youth policy (supporting an affordable education system and targeted job creation for young professionals), as well as argues that effective countering extremism in modern conditions of open bor-ders and community interaction is possible only with a democratic form of government with a developed system of civil control, the development of social about the ori-ented economic model of the state, the expansion of rights and freedoms in society, the formation of skills of constructive self-organization and self-government in the youth environment.
