Abstract
In the era of the digital economy, the undeniable importance of corporate personnel training based on the concept of lifelong education dictates the need to create a successful system of in-house employee training. The development of a system of intra-company continuous distance training of personnel becomes especially important for large companies, whose branches, divisions and additional offices are distributed over large territories, which makes it possible to effectively meet the company’s needs for personnel training and provide employees with the ability to quickly respond to changes in the internal and external environment of the company, and top management — the ability to continuously maintain competitiveness in the market. The article is devoted to the analysis of the results of a field study assessing the compliance of the current model of the system of in-house continuous distance learning for personnel at PJSC Rostelecom with real practice with the aim of improving it. Based on a comparative analysis of the data obtained, a number of “vulnerabilities” of the system were identified, for overcoming which recommendations were proposed.
