It also highlights the hidden aspects of the poetry of Ka’ab Ibn Zohair and their relation to innate nature, mannerism and the influential sources. In addition, the research aims at examining the literary and critical texts written by ancient and modern critics so as to understand their critical views concerning innate nature and mannerism, and how far they influenced the poetry of Ka’ab Ibn Zohair. The research answers the question; is Ka’ab Ibn Zohair a poet of mannerism only as critics think? Or he comprised both together (innate nature and mannerism)? Accordingly, the research is keen to introduce an independent voice that is distinct from the other critical literary studies which handled innate nature and mannerism.
