Abstract

The aim of this article is to study the peculiarities of servicemen's professional adaptation transferred to the reserve as an element of resocialization. The work describes the specific features of the process of resocializa-tion of the group of individuals under consideration, which are expressed in the cardinality of this process, the influence of the labor factor, which is associated with the specificity of service and the age aspect, since many of the servicemen are not pensioners in the context of the civilian environment. The article studies the major elements of professional adaptation and draws the conclusion that this element occupies one of the central places in the process of resocialization of servicemen after their transfer to the reserve. A special place within the framework of the work is occupied by the analysis of the system of support for the professional adaptation of military personnel transferred to the reserve, as part of which a number of mechanisms related to profes-sional retraining, the educational aspect and the increase of entrepreneurial potential are distinguished. In ad-dition, an empirical study aimed at identifying the current aspects of professional adaptation of military person-nel transferred to the reserve was carried out, which resulted in the identification of current problems in the con-text of the issue under study. Conclusions. The study found that the existing system of support for professional adaptation of military personnel is not effective enough, and there are clear directions for its improvement. The relevance of system development activities stems from the fact that a large proportion of servicemen face chal-lenges in terms of lack of information, skills and competencies for potential employment.
