Abstract

In the conditions of today's relevance, the issue of digitalization of economic processes and the penetration of information technologies into all spheres of life is becoming increasingly important. There are new requirements to the sources of competitive advantages of enterprises and effective concepts of their functioning and management. At the present stage in the global information society, a new economic form is being actively formed - digital. The importance of digital technologies at the stage of development of the world and national economies is seriously growing, the reason is not only global crises, but also the search for fundamentally new sources of increasing the competitiveness of the economies of individual states. It is necessary to organize the activities of the enterprise, taking into account the peculiarities of the transition to new principles of the digital economy, forecasting possible related problems, as well as developing solutions and proposals to minimize negative consequences and strengthen the main result of the enterprise. A system of effective management of available resources and business processes at enterprises based on innovative technologies and methods for optimizing business processes, which become the most important management tool through the continuous improvement of the processes occurring at the enterprise and their optimization, can also give a significant competitive advantage. The article is devoted to modern trends in the development of enterprises in the digital economy. At the same time, the article substantiates the need for changes in the activities of economic entities, defines the concepts of the digital economy, highlights the factors and main barriers that an enterprise faces on the path of digitalization. The main features of enterprise management in the context of digitalization are considered. The article presents modern concepts of enterprise management and describes some of the benefits of using innovative technologies. It is noted that the management of an enterprise in the era of digitalization obliges managers to meet the requirements for professional knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of both management, personnel management, and in the field of IT technologies, and it is necessary to do a lot of work to create a socio-cultural environment of the enterprise that will allow realizing the benefits of modern stage of economic development, which is based on free interaction at all levels of management and readiness for change.
