Abstract

The article examines the issues of stimulating teachers to professional development and self-development. Acmeological factors and conditions of that process are defined as basic in the system of professional development. Actualization of personal and motivational determinants of professional development in the system of professional development is considered as a mechanism for increasing the productivity of teachers. Personal and motivational characteristics (motivational structure, professional orientation, abilities for professional self-development, functional state, self-assessment of the results of their own activities.) are described as the leading subjective factors determining the professional development of teachers.
