Abstract
The article identifies the specificity of some elements of the healthcare system at the level of the regions of the Central Chernozem macroregion. The empirical base of the study was the data of state statistics and the results of a survey of the population conducted in 2020 in the Voronezh, Kursk, and Lipetsk regions (N = 1 200) by a semi-formalized interview using the program tools «Sociocultural Portrait of the Region of Russia» (Modification – 2015). Based on the analysis of sociological data, the structure of the organization of medical care to residents of the above regions was disclosed, the main problems of the quality and organization of state medical care are identified
