Abstract
Increased requirements are set to catenary suspension of electrified railways on all stages of life cycle. Big influence on its correct operation is rendered by supporting constructions. The paper presents an analysis of operation of supporting constructions such as catenary poles, cantilevers and pull-offs. As a result, the authors proved the necessity to apply a special method for calculation of reliability parameters, which will allow creating an accurate system of catenary section maintenance.
