Abstract
본 연구는 유아를 위한 뉴스 리터러시 교육을 실제 교육현장에 적용해봄으로써 유아의 언어표현력과 사회지능에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고, 유아교육현장에서 효율적으로 적용할 수 있는 뉴스 리터러시 교육과정 및 지원체계 마련을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 전라북도 G시 E유치원의 만5세 유아 38명을 연구 대상으로 선정하여 실험집단과 통제집단으로 나누고 사전검사, 실험처치, 사후검사 순으로 연구를 진행하였으며 자료분석은 SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 결과를 분석하였다. 연구결과 유아를 위한 뉴스 리터러시 교육이 유아의 언어표현력과 사회지능을 향상시키는데 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 유아를 위한 뉴스 리터러시 교육이 유아의 언어표현력과 유아의 사회지능을 향상시키는데 적합한 수업 전략임을 확인하였다는 점에 그 의의가 있다.
