Abstract
본고에서는 한국과 독일 기계공업분야 기업들 간의 합작투자 동기 및 장애요인에 대해서 살펴보았다. 합작투자에 대한 연구는 여러 학자들을 통해서 여러 관점에서 연구되었지만, 한국과 독일 그리고 기계공업분야에 대한 연구는 없다. 제 2장에서는 이론적 배경으로 여러 가지 합작투자에 대한 개념 및 동기 등을 살펴보았으며, 제 3장에서는 이론적 토대를 통해서 한 독 간의 합작투자 동기 및 장애요인에 대한 기본가정을 정립하였다. 제 4장에서는 이러한 요인들을 실증분석 하였다. 실증분석에 활용된 대상은 한국은 한국기계공업협회 회원, 독일에서는 독일기계공업협회 회원으로 이루어졌으며, 양국에서 동일한 설문지로 동시에 이루어졌다는 점을 특징으로 들 수 있다. 총 200개의 설문지가 발송되었으며 67%의 회답율을 나타냈다. 제 5장에서는 위의 연구결과를 설명하였으며 그리고 끝으로 우리나라 정부의 정책적 대안을 제시하였다. This article analysis the obstacles and motivating factors of joint ventures between South Korean and German companies. As a theoretical frame is used the resource based view to explain motivating as well as hindering factors that influence joint ventures between Korean and German firms. The theoretical findings are tested with a sample of approximately 200companies that operate in the machinery industry. The data were provided by the German Machinery Industry Association and the Korean Association of Machinery Industry. The results of the findings are used to derive implications for governmental policy makers.
