Abstract
Ethno-psychological features of Turkmen mentality are seen as a factor, determining efficient communication between students of different nationalities in the multicultural educational space. The aim of the article is to single out the characteristic features of the world perception and behavioral patterns, that are to be considered while establishing collaboration with Turkmen students. The method of the research is analysis of theoretical works in the sphere of intercultural communication as well as situations in which manifestation of typical features of the people in all academic contexts. The research is resulted in making what might be called an ethno-psychological profile of the Turkmen student, which will help to choose the right strategy of communication with the people of this nationality in the multicultural educational space of Russian High School.
