Abstract
The article examines current changes related to the exercise of the right to housing by military personnel in connection with a special military operation. Changes in the geopolitical situation and participation in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine served as the reason for the legislative expansion of social guarantees for participants in the SVO of persons, including their inclusion in the list of persons who can exercise the right to receive free land for individual housing construction, preferential mortgages, etc.
