Abstract
Based on a targeted approach, the article substantiates theoretical provisions for improving the mechanism of formation of the investment climate in the field of the agro-industrial complex of Russia, which, unlike the existing one, includes a stage of monitoring its functioning indicators and evaluating the effectiveness of investments. Taking into account the current challenges facing Russia, the triad of fundamental research structures is considered: the agro-industrial complex, the investment climate and the mechanism of formation of the investment climate in the field of agro-industrial complex. The main purpose and tasks of the functioning of the mechanism for the formation of the investment climate in the field of agro-industrial complex have been formed. It is determined that the subtasks should be solved taking into account the macroeconomic and microeconomic levels of the mechanism’s functioning. It also reveals the content of the management principles that correspond to the goals and objectives of this mechanism.
