Abstract

The study investigates the key ways to increase the social activity of young employees from the standpoint of the social partnership under development. The research discusses the main focus of modern trade unions, their rights and opportunities in Russia. The paper presents the results of a survey conducted by the Social Research Center of the Academy of Labor and Social Relations. This survey helps reveal the problematic relationships between young professionals and trade unions, define the role and objectives of contemporary trade unions in the field of youth affairs, and identify the priorities for improvements of youth policy implemented by trade unions. The authors determine the prospects for social dialog among the actors of social partnership in the context of the protection of labor rights and legitimate interests of young employees.
