Abstract

This study was to investigate the influence of sports activity participation of middle school on their sociability and aggression factors. For the purpose of this study, a survey of middle school students was conducted and subjects of this research was recruited from a middle school and the total of 200 middle school junior students were voluntarily participated.BR From the analyze, it was identified that regarding a difference in sociability and aggression according to sports activity participation, students who have participated in sports activities showed a significantly higher level in sociability compared to those who have not participated in such activities. Except for stability, the rest of other sub-factors, sociability, activity, and dominance showed a high level. Meanwhile, there was no a significant difference in aggression between participants and non-participants. Also, it was found that as to an influence of sports activity participants on aggression factors, students with high sociability who have participated in sports activities showed low aggression or a negative relation. Especially, it was identified that those who have had a higher stability showed a lower level in sub-factors of aggression, physical attack and anger, language abuse and hostility.
