Abstract
The article gives a retrospective analysis of bilateral relations between Russia and Myanmar and the state of inbound tourism in Myanmar after the pandemic. The author notes that tourism is among the priorities in cooperation between Myanmar and Russia. Myanmar has launched a state program to attract Russian tourists "Welcome, Russians!", within the framework of which a fam trip was organized for Russian tour operators. The author pays special attention to the introduction of a visa-free regime for Russians and the start of direct flights from Yangon to Novosibirsk. At the same time, the author notes a factоr that may complicate the breakthrough in the development of inbound tourism due to the escalation of military actions of the Brotherhood alliance against the junta.
