Abstract

The objectives and purpose of the study are to identify patterns and relationships between the drivers of labor productivity growth and to form on their basis a system of key indicators that characterize the variability of drivers for increasing labor productivity in the conditions of economic restructuring. The relevance of the study is due to the need to systematize the drivers of labor productivity growth in the context of economic restructuring, which will improve understanding of the impact of various factors on labor productivity and develop optimal strategies for its increase. In accordance with our hypothesis about the variability of labor productivity drivers, we assume that the impact of each of the key factors on labor productivity may vary in different situations and in different sectors of the economy. Some factors may have a greater impact on labor productivity in some conditions, while they may have a smaller impact in other settings and industries. In the course of the research, methods of logical constructions and modeling, systematization and classification, analysis of statistical data of the Federal State Statistics Service, and generalization of practical results were used to substantiate key indicators of labor productivity growth. The research result is the proposed system of key indicators for increasing labor productivity, taking into account the markers of modern socioeconomic development, drivers, and criteria for increasing labor productivity. The paper concludes that the strongest influence of the drivers of labor productivity increase is manifested in determining the causal relationships of violations of the required ratio of labor productivity growth and average wages.
