Abstract

Higher educational institutions that focus on training specialists in the humanities currently require innovative forms of work. It would give the opportunity to create practices close to professional ones, allowing them to test the acquired competencies within the walls of the university. The article presents the practical experience of joint activities of the authors and their colleagues in the field of education, one of the important tasks of which is the education of a professional. The work of student clubs is considered on the example of the Institute of Cross-cultural Communication and International Relations (ICC&IR) of NRU «BelSU». Students are immersed in a creative, professional atmosphere that allows them to test their knowledge and skills. Such activity of professors and students is an effective way of work aimed at developing the necessary professional competencies of students of different majors.
