Abstract

The article contains information on the specifics of the formation of risk-oriented thinking of system engineers in the process of professional training. In particular, the concept of «risk» and its classification are considered taking into account the specifics of vocational training.The object of the study is the cognitive activity of students of higher educational institutions of the III–IV levels of ac-creditation in the study of safety of vital activity.The purpose of this article is to substantiate the necessary methodological methods for the aim of purposeful for-mation of risk-oriented thinking of system engineers in the process of professional training.The professional activity of system engineers entails the occurrence of corresponding risks. It is shown that one of the effective measures to prevent accidents at work is the elimination of the human factor from the causes of accidents by creating responsibility for workers for their actions during their professional activities. Accordingly, the task of higher educa-tion is to train specialists who will own methods for analyzing and forecasting risks, and also to understand the peculiarities of avoiding them in the course of their professional activities.Prospects for further research are the further development of methods for the formation of risk-oriented thinking of system engineers, taking into account the specifics of their professional activities.
