Abstract

The results of studies on the influence of technological parameters (temperature, HCl concentration, etc.) on the separation rate of the liquid and solid phases of the reaction pulp from the hydrochloric acid decomposition of nepheline are presented. Based on the data obtained, optimal decomposition conditions were selected, under which the highest filtration rate was achieved: acid concentration 25–30 %; process temperature 85–95 °C; duration of loading nepheline into acid 3.03.5 hours with an additional exposure of 0.51 hour and the consumption of "seed" 1015 % of the mass of nepheline.
