Акторы развития нестоличных промышленных городов: теоретико-методологические подходы к исследованию

Abstract

The global challenges facing Russia and Russian society dictate the need to boost production and find resources to develop the country's industrial cities. These resources are related to the presence/absence of real leaders in them who are interested in transforming the city and who are able to act as integrators of managerial, industrial, business and creative communities. The aim of the article is to reveal the possibilities of the actor approach and related theories and methodologies for unlocking their potential, evaluating the effectiveness of activities. The question about the participants in urban processes, their direction and prospects determined the choice of M. Weber's theory of social action, developed in the concepts of A. Touraine, P. Bourdieu and E. Giddens, P. Sztompka and V. A. Yadov, as the basis for further research on industrial cities in Russia. Attracting the thought-activity methodology of G. P. Shchedrovitsky and Yu. V. Gromyko helps to de-fine the criteria for evaluating the activities and communication of urban development entities, to understand the role of the target image of the city (formed on the basis of project or scenario approaches) in giving direction to their strategies. Methodology of predictive social design T. M. Dridze makes it possible to predict the social consequences of management decisions based on the opinions of all stakeholders. All these approaches are considered through the prism of the possibility of their application to the study of the actors of non-capital industrial cities of Russia with a generalization of the developments that are available in this direction in Russian science. The significance of the work lies in the theoretical advances in the study of urban development actors with a focus on non-capital industrial cities, in the creation of theoretical and methodological foundations for further research into their potential, strategies and practices.
