Abstract

Recently, the 2022 curriculum included a section on math learning clinics for the personalized education, so in order to develop a program that is feasible in the field, first, responses of elementary and middle school teachers in a teacher training program using a treatment program to reduce math anxiety among the affective areas, was analyzed and a revised model was constructed, and secondly, a math learning counseling and coaching model for treating math anxiety was finally sought by re- vising the results of applying the revised model to students according to the results from the first phase. This study was a basic attempt at developing a model for field application, and the entire process was inspected using a professional council by an expert advisory group. In particular, it is expected that field applicability will be greatly increased as the results of applying the revised model to students based on the responses of teachers who participated in the teacher training were produced. As a result of the study, the advantage of literally realizing personalized education was highlighted as it is easy to diagnose and administer complex treatments in the mathematics learning process that progresses from counseling to coaching.
