Abstract
The article, based on the work of domestic and foreign researchers, identifies the features of Ezra Pound's poetry, characterizing it as a translation problem. Based on the Russian translated texts of the poem “A girl”, made by I. Probstein, V. Dukelsky and M. Vzorov, the author of the article explores variants of translational solutions and the variety of approaches to the transmission of the features of the poet's work, which are regarded as predesposing to translation multiplicity.
