The following types of radiologic studies were included in the study: computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance tomography (MRT), radiography (RG), mammography (MMG), fluorography (FLG), densitometry (RD). Results. A change in the structure of radiologic studies was determined, due to a 51% decrease in the number of radiographic studies and a 1.7-fold increase in the number of CT studies. The number of radiologists increased by 7.2% and the number of technicians by 3.8%. The workload of radiologists increased by 24.2%. The average staff complement of radiology departments with radiologists amounted to 70.8%. Findings. Advanced digital infrastructure of the radiology departments promotes high adaptability to emerging challenges. Staff shortage can be adjusted through the implementation of new digital technologies aimed at optimizing professional activity of radiologists.
