Abstract

The article analyzes the problem of deviant behavior of adolescents and young people: development, actualization of certain forms of deviations, historical context, compares similarities in different countries, and the current state of this scientific and practical issue. Psychological and age characteristics of young people who are prone to deviant behavior are highlighted. The relevance, and at the same time complexity, of the problem under consideration is noted, which emphasizes the difficulty of selecting research methods and developing correctional programs. We consider psychocorrective assistance to this contingent in institutions with a short stay (up to one month). The importance of increasing the level of psychological, medical, and legal knowledge, as well as the need for spiritual development, is noted.
