Abstract
Each nation has its own way, tradition, peculiarities of thinking of counting, measuring, outlining and describing things in life. In addition, they express it in a rich vocabulary. Before people get acquainted with the development of science, they used this rich vocabulary in their life. The rich vocabulary is the linguistics study to express national culture and mentalitet, and realis. In this way, it became the center of interest of linguists. Further, it is a study that must be researched. Through this study work, I intended to show that measure words are the expressions of cognitive and mentality. I aimed to demonstrate the evidence of Mongolian and Russian fairy tales.
