Abstract
The article considers demonstration exam as a part of evaluating students' knowledge, abilities and skills of the competence “Documentation Support of Management and Archival Science” in the Russian State Vocational and Pedagogical University. The research results of the readiness of students, that study “Document Management in the Organization” or “Document Management in the Digital Economy”, to take a demonstration exam for the competence without specific training are presented.
