Abstract

Purpose. To analyze the results of retina selective focal laser coagulation in adults Coats' disease on clinical case. Material and methods. A topographically-oriented laser treatment was performed on a patient with a rare form of unilateral Coats disease complicated by retinal edema using a modern navigation laser system «NAVILAS» and multimodal visualization. The follow-up period was 6 months. Results. Using the complex of modern diagnostic methods, the multiple vascular anomalies was revealed. Due to the selective laser coagulation the most identified macroaneurysm`s regression and exudation`s resorption with subsequent stabilization of visual functions during the observation period was achieved. Conclusion. The combined approach with modern imaging techniques and navigational planning of laser surgery makes it possible to informatively identify and accurately perform the treatment.
