Abstract

The article examines the state and problems of self-sufficiency in basic agricultural products in the Republic of Bashkortostan under the imposed sanctions restrictions, and provides ways to increase the level of food self-sufficiency in the region. The research revealed the advantages of agro-industrial integration and cooperation of agricultural producers, processors of agricultural raw materials and retail chains, including through an increase in value-added products. Proposals have been developed for the creation of various territorial agricultural clusters using the mechanism of intermunicipal and interregional cooperation for selfsufficiency in agricultural products and achieving food security of the regions and the country.
