Abstract
The article is devoted to studying lexical units in a juridical text, which serves as a communicative unit. The paper aims to examine juridical vocabulary functioning and to identify its peculiarities. The originality of the study is conditioned by its theme. The authors provide an analysis aimed to identify the peculiarities of lexical units and their functioning in a juridical text structure. The practical value of the study lies in the fact that the findings can be used to analyse a juridical text and its translation and to prepare juridical documents.
