Abstract
The article considers such important categories of economic theory as economic egoism and dehumanization of economic relations. The negative phenomena defined by these categories manifest themselves in the Russian economy and in society, hindering innovative growth, social development and, in general, ensuring the national security of the Russian Federation in the mod-ern period of radical transformation of the global geopolitical environment.
