Abstract
Questions of population informing and alerting on transport infrastructure objects’ territories in case of threat or occurrence of emergency situations or terroristic acts are considered in this article. Results of trial operation of protection system segments against the emergency situations of natural and technogenic character, as well as results of informing and alerting of population in transport and results of public opinion researches on the questions of satisfaction with system are presented. Directions of further development and improvement of the system are defined on the basis of revealed shortcomings.
