Abstract
Thermal power plants highly depend on fossil fuel supply. This research is studying reliability of fuel supply systems in order to prevent fossil fuel shortages what is crucial for district heating. The basis of the conducted research is the Monte Carlo method as well as the certain data on fuel supply and demand. We have developed a reliability analysis algorithm with multiple simulation options such as fuel reserve and interchangeability between several power plants. The results of simulation tests are presented in this paper.
