Abstract

Transborder is understood as a sign of a conceptual construct, the research potential of which can be extrapolated to the mass media digital space, existing on the principles of openness, centering around the forces of influence, relative delimitation and, at the same time, the permeability of local (national) and global media spaces. It is clarified that the state of the transition marked with the sign "trans-" between these spaces is determined by the ratio of two orders of discursivity, that is, interdiscursivity, and its content is information and knowledge mediatization. Based on the analysis of the South Korean media space, the method of functioning of this "trans" state is established in the form of interaction of transnational and ethnonational signs: conceptual types of relations between them (substitution, identity, inclusion), as well as cognitive types of knowledge introduced by foreign signs. It is concluded that "trans-boundary" mediatization is a form of ontologization of actual new knowledge.
