Abstract

The article discusses the main tools of influencing the viewer used in cinematography, as well as methods and methods of conveying the author's view on the interpretation of historical events and personalities. In particular, an example of the viewer's perception of such a landmark in the history of Russia as "The Decembrist Uprising" is given on the example of two domestic films: "The Star of Captivating Happiness" and "Union of Salvation". The authors of the study aim to analyze the cinematic ways of influencing the viewer in both films, as well as to compare the point of view of the filmmakers on the historical events being filmed.
