Abstract

The article deals with the essence of pedagogical coaching as a technology of professional development of personality in the system of advanced training, namely as a productive and rational means of organizing training in the current system. A new concept from etymological analysis to new meanings that have become entrenched in the field of education is considered. It is substantiated that pedagogical coaching should take a worthy place among other innovative technologies as an effective means of increasing motivation and, as a consequence, conscious training in further training courses for teachers. Emphasis is placed on the development of coaching competence of the teacher in the intertest period. Coaching technology is considered as an innovative means of developing self-educational and professional competence of teachers. The typical algorithm and principles and methods of realization of coaching technology are outlined. The advantages of the organization of professional training of specialists in the system of further training on the basis of coaching technology are determined.
