Abstract

The article is aimed at defining the content characteristics and organizational and technological prerequisites for the digitalization of business processes of logistics enterprises in the process of implementing the tasks of the sustainable smart development strategy. Based on the results of the analysis of the management practices of the studied enterprises, a list of digital technologies, three stages of technological development of digital innovations (automation, virtualization, smartification) are identified, and a chronological model of business process digitalization consisting of four waves of 9-10 years is formed. It is established that the main prerequisites for digitalization are the constant production of digital innovations against the background of intensifying competition between market leaders and solving the problems of sustainable development based on the ability to respond quickly to permanent changes in the external environment.
