Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationships among emotional responses, event attitude and participation satisfaction for local sport event participants. This empirical study analysis was performed on data from 159 participants of ‘2017 Gyeongju Cherry Marathon’. For the empirical study, frequency analysis and correlation analysis were done by using SPSS21.0. In addition, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling were done by using AMOS21.0. The results are as follows: First, positive emotional response had a positive effect on event attitude and participation satisfaction. Second, negative emotional response had a negative effect on event attitude and participation satisfaction. Third, event attitude had a significant effect on participation satisfaction.
