Abstract

The purpose of study is to verify the influence of emotional response of Belly dance participants on participation satisfaction and lesson continuing intention. This study aims at providing fundamental data and information on Belly dance participants by studying effects of emotional response on participation satisfaction and lesson continuing intention. The survey was done through 250 copies excluding 13 copies. An analysis was conducted on the remaining 237 (94.8%) copies. After investigating the question, the collected data were processed using IBM SPSS statistics 21 and IBM AMOS 21 program. Frequency analysis was used in order to acquire demographic characteristics. Exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, convergent validity, discriminant validity, and Cronbach’s α were used in order to verify emotional response, participation satisfaction and lesson continuing intention. Correlation analysis and path analysis through Structural Equation Model (SEM) were conducted. For mediation effect, Sobel test was performed. The results of this study are as follows. First, emotional response of Belly dance participants showed (+) effects on participation satisfaction. Second, participation satisfaction of Belly dance participants showed (+) effects on lesson continuing intention. Third, emotional response of Belly dance participants showed (+) effects on lesson continuing intention. Forth, participation satisfaction showed mediation effect on emotional response and lesson continuing intention of Belly dance participants.
