Abstract

The article analyzes the feasibility of developing didactic materials by future technical specialists during the study of business foreignlanguage. The author has noted the need to adhere to the subject-subject and personality-oriented approaches, which are the mainones in the development of didactic materials by students during the classes of foreign language of professional orientation. The articleemphasizes that the successful mastering of a professionally oriented foreign language of future technical specialists will increasesignificantly if the principles of individualization, differentiation and interactivity of foreign language teaching are followed in theprocess of development of didactic materials. The author insists that students of higher technical education institutions by themselvesshould choose the teaching techniques or methodological methods of studying of certain topics of educational material for the applicationof personality-oriented technologies of teaching foreign languages which are well-known to them for deeper mastering of material. Atthe same time, it is advisable to recommend students to choose such methodological materials and techniques that would providethe opportunity to individualize and differentiate learning, taking into account the abilities of each student. The author has createdrecommendations for students on the development of didactic material: to select the appropriate information material; to identifycommunicative tasks of speakers; to draw up a scheme of a dialogue; to choose business role-playing games to activate speech material;to formulate questions in order to have control over the understanding of the content of the text that was read; to provide other studentswith communicative guidance on working in pairs in order to encourage a dialogue by request; to organize and carry out groupdiscussions; to correct mistakes in the speech of the participants of the discussion, without disturbing the process of communication,repeating ones question, clarifying something, and so on; to comment on the answers of their peers regarding professional languagecorrectness; to evaluate the dialogue for its relevance to the communicative task. The results of an experimental study on the effectiveacquisition of professionally oriented foreign language by students during the development of didactic materials have been highlighted.
