Abstract
The article presents the results of breeding work in the Ulyanovsk Research Institute of Agricultural Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the creation of new lines and varieties of oats resistant to dust smut. In the study, an artificial infectious background was created to infect seeds with dusty smut spores. In the process of studying the source material, breeding lines were identified that showed resistance to this disease. And naked varieties Azil (2022) and Mane were also created, which is undergoing state variety testing.
