Abstract

The problem of the development of social and cultural activity of students is a strategic priority in the field of state youth policy. We discuss pedagogical features of personality behavior during leisure and sports tourism, the problems of social and cultural institutions in the development of leisure programs and leisure activities, issues related to the needs and demands of students in the choice of leisure, the results of experimental work on the development of social and cultural activity of students in Tambov and Tambov region, and also ways of the decision of development of social and cultural activity of the individual at the organization of leisure activity and sports tourism. It is analyzed that pedagogical features are the connecting link influencing development of social and cultural activity of student youth by sports tourism means. During the organization of events with a variety of forms of free time, conditions are created for the disclosure of creative potential and self-realization. The development and implementation of leisure programs has a direct impact on the development of social and cultural activity of students in the process of its interaction. Conscious participation in public life, formation of competence and responsibility to oneself and others, readiness for independent life choice become important processes in the development of modern society and innovative development of the country.
