Abstract

One of many features of the attractiveness of the Ukrainian national market for foreign investors and producers is the transit status of Ukraine. Interstate transit through the Ukrainian territory is a significant national resource, which is currently not fully utilized. For many states, the transit of goods through its territory has become an important source of export services, currency revenues to the budget, creating additional jobs. The issue of transit development is a worthy place in the European transport policy. Due to its geographical location, Ukraine has been a bridge between Europe and Asia, between the North and the South over the course of a millennium. The great future of Ukraine - in cooperation between the countries of the Middle East and Northern Europe, and Ukraine, should become a transit territory for them.Prospects of integration of our country into the world economy and strengthening of transit functions of the state demand high quality, regularity and reliability of transport links, preservation of cargoes and safety of passenger transportation, increase of speed and reduction of the cost of delivery, that is, high level of functioning of the Ukrainian transport complex, which by volume and the tonnage of passenger and cargo transportation, the passage and registration of transit cargoes, as well as the presence of large main gas and oil pipelines, the international their power systems is one of the leading in Europe.With the further development and modernization of its own transit transport infrastructure and the creation of favorable conditions for the transit of transit through the territory of Ukraine, Ukraine has the potential to attract additional transit flows through its territory.The efficiency of transit services depends primarily on the level of development of the domestic transport system and the functioning of international transport corridors on the territory of the state. That is why, in our time, the transit of the state becomes strategic, becomes an important component of national security.
