Abstract
Russian construction industry enterprises are increasingly realizing the potential of information modeling technologies. The article considers the role of information modeling technologies in the organization of the life cycle of capital construction facilities, identifies difficulties in managing TIM data; shows the advantages of using TIM technologies in the construction sector; considers domestic software products; notes the difficulties of analyzing the effectiveness of TIM implementation at enterprises in connection with the lack of a unified assessment of the effectiveness of the implementation of TIM technologies; The trends in the development of the field of TIM technologies are noted.
