Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of import substitution issues as a factor in the development of Russia’s foreign economic activity during the period of sanctions. The authors assessed Russia’s foreign economic activity in terms of foreign trade in goods and services, as well as capital flows. The main problems preventing import substitution in the context of the listed industries have been clarified. According to the results of the study, measures have been identified that will accelerate import substitution in Russia.
