Abstract

The article considers the mobilization and usage of the human potential of Omsk military district during the First Word War. Analysing office documents of military units, state administrative bodies, statistical sources and normative and legal documents the author identifies the mobilization potential and the basic ways to find the human resources of the West Siberian region. The elaboration of the historical material allows the author to conclude about the efficiency of involving Western Siberia’s population for the needs of the war.
