ГОДОНИМЫ В СОЦИОКУЛЬТУРНОМ ПРОСТРАНСТВЕ ГОРОДСКИХ ПОСЕЛЕНИЙ БАЙКАЛО-АМУРСКОЙ ЖЕЛЕЗНОДОРОЖНОЙ МАГИСТРАЛИ (БАМА)

Abstract

The article examines the peculiarities of the formation and development of the hodonyms of the BAM urban settlements by the example of Severobaikalsk city and urban-type settlement Taksimo. The authors propose a classification of the hodonym corpus, in which they identify three semantic layers and six groups; the structure of the names and the peculiarities of their origin are considered. The paper identifies and describes the basic tendencies of regional hodonymy development at the modern stage, such as the inclination of modern names for natural-geographical or ethnical exotics, the functionalization of names.
